Library & Learning Resources Centre (LRC)
Nescot has a purpose-built Library and Learning Resources Centre (LRC) where you can use computers, borrow books, DVDs and videos, photocopy and scan, and learn to present your work professionally.
The LRC's facilities cater for different styles of working and include group work, quiet study and silent study areas. There are also specialist subject librarians and IT advisers to help you to find information and master the technology.
Resources in the LRC currently include:
- Around 35,000 books and 150 print journal titles, with access to several hundred more via internet subscription
- Large screen PCs for students with learning difficulties or visual impairments
- Web Access Skills Centre
- Shop where you can buy textbooks and stationery

The Nescot Skills Centre
The College's Skills Centre is on the top floor of the LRC. It is a state-of-the-art area with brand new IT equipment and furniture. It is an open-plan space with separate areas for group, small group and individual learning and has a total of 88 PCs and 84 study spaces.
