Some Nescot students are eligible for a bursary of up to £500 via the college.
Depending on their circumstances, students who progress from a Level 3 to a Level 4 course in 2017/8, and students who are leaving care may be entitled to receive the money in instalments.
Bursaries are awarded depending on various criteria, and are subject to attendance and academic performance. They do not need to be repaid.
To receive this, students must be studying full-time, and doing their first university-level course, such as an HNC, having progressed from a level 3 course at Nescot in 2016/17.
Students must have a household income of less than £25,000, and must meet the residency criteria for home fees.
