The REED Employment Centre is open year round, with staff focussed on helping you, whether you’re looking for an Apprenticeship, a work placement as part of your course, a part-time job to fit around your studies or a full-time position once you’ve finished studying at Nescot.

3. Outstanding Ofsted Grades

4. High levels of student satisfaction

Our 2013 college survey of Further Education students at Nescot showed 95.5% were satisfied with the teaching and learning on their course, 95% felt safe in college and 93.4% said they were satisfied with the college and their course overall.

This year’s National Student Survey found 95% of our Higher Education students were satisfied with their course. This compares to a national average of 85%, and puts the college ahead of the University of Cambridge, the University of Oxford and the University of Durham

5. Strong progression to Higher Education

At the time of writing, our students are holding offers from universities including King's College London, Exeter, Surrey, Kent, Bangor, Bournemouth, De Montfort, Goldsmith’s, London School of Fashion, Reading, Sheffield Hallam, Nottingham Trent, St Mary’s, Roehampton and many more.

6. Industry investment in our curriculum and our students

Nescot has strong links with employers and skills councils. This industry input means that our courses offer the skills that employers have identified as the ones they need in their field of work. Employers help with the design of assignments, with relevant visits and guest lecturers, with entrepreneurship and employability schemes and with high-quality work experience.
