This is a family-owned Building and Management company, carrying out all aspects of building restoration and refurbishment work, with an excellent track record in providing a wide cross-section of building work to many of the major contractors and property managers in the UK. The offices in Chessington, Surrey, service contracts in London and the Home Counties.

Duties will include general business admin duties, ordering materials, checking delivery notes and invoices, and reconciling.

Hours Monday – Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm.

Rate of Pay: £4.50 to £5.50 dependent on experience

Essential Skills: GCSE English Grade 4 (grade C) and GCSE Maths Grade 4 (grade C) or above, must enjoy working with numbers and be comfortable using a calculator.

Hours: 35 Hours a Week

Salary: Circa £9,100 per annum


To contribute to the efficient operation of the company by providing general business and human resources administrative support.


General tasks –

  • Manning reception, meeting and greeting visitors
  • Answering calls and transferring to the appropriate person
  • Responsible for the end to end process of archiving
  • Answering the telephone and responding appropriately.
  • Managing the post and emails.
  • Undertaking Project work as required by the line manager to include developing and maintaining spreadsheets containing data to be monitored.
  • Responding to requests for general information relevant to Crossroads Care Surrey using internal and external resources.
  • Liaison with members of the public and other organisations.
  • Responsible for filing, photocopying and binding as requested by your line manager and members of the Senior Management Team.
  • Updating and circulating contact lists.
  • Responsible for stationery stock, monitoring levels to be ordered in time to meet need.

Business Administration Apprentice

A business administration apprentice is required to join an exciting, market-leading company in the brewing, food and drinks industry. Based in Leatherhead.

Keeping up to date with learning tasks as set by the appointed Assessor for the level 2 QCF in Business Administration

Qualifications and experience:

Computer Literate/savvy – experiences with excel and word

Solid administrative skills

Good communication and written skills

Confident team player who can act independently

Minimum of 5 GCSE or equivalent
