Level 3 Business Administration Apprentice, Epsom

You will be working for an international company that buys and sells used and repaired mobile phones and other devices acquired through Mobile Phone Buy-Back Programmes.

Working in a small friendly team in Epsom, this role will provide an opportunity to develop your administration skills in a sales environment, learn to use our computer system, Navision and develop confidence on the phone. You will also develop some knowledge about different types of mobile phones.

We’re looking for someone who has good computer skills (including Excel), who is self-motivated with good organisation skills and strong attention to detail. You will be talking to various managers in the company and to potential customers, so if you can write and talk clearly and confidently, you will fit in just fine. An interest in mobile phones and tech would be useful, but we will provide training. GCSEs in English and Maths are required.

Duties include:

  • Creating a database and mailing list of used mobile phone retailers through online searches.
  • Contacting potential customers by phone to check their contact details.
  • Creating and sending out e-shots weekly promoting our stock of used mobile phones (VAT margin stock).
  • Answering queries from customers by email and occasionally by phone mainly concerning stock availability, passing on more complex queries to other managers.
  • Liaising with Managers and Technicians at Epsom concerning customers, stock pricing, availability and processing.
  • Inputting data onto our computer system, Navision and searching for information or running reports as required.
  • Assisting with the sales administration procedures including inputting sales orders and invoices.
  • Assisting with other administrative tasks when necessary which may include involvement in our eBay shop.
  • Carrying out the learning tasks for the level 2 Business Administration qualification.

Full training will be given in the role, and you will develop all these skills further as you develop in the role.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm (37.5 hours per week) Rate of Pay: £5.00 per hour.

Level 3 Business Administration Apprentice

System Support Administration Apprentice. 36 Hours per week Monday – Friday £5.60 per hour

An excellent opportunity has arisen to train as an apprentice for a local authority within their Revenues and Benefits section based in Epsom. This role will particularly suit a candidate looking to gain experience in a financial or technical system support environment. You will be providing a comprehensive administration service to the Revenues and Benefit System Support staff.
