Apprentice Specialist Fitter (Vehicle, Plant and Equipment), 40 hours per week, competitive salary

Location: Crawley

Join an experienced team and develop the knowledge, skills, behaviours and experience needed to provide vehicle, plant and equipment maintenance and servicing for the council’s fleet.

This apprenticeship provides a great opportunity to learn how to service and repair a wide range of vehicles, such as plant machinery, mechanical equipment, electric cars, diesel flatbed vans, Scarab sweepers, ride-on mowers, strimmers, and chainsaws.

Level 3: Motor Vehicle Maintenance Apprentice

Location: Guildford

How would you like to be part of a small friendly, efficient and committed team? You will have the opportunity to train and learn the fundamentals of auto repair & maintenance within the VW group. You will be taught tuning, diagnosing, fault-finding and how to carry out a first-class repair with the aim of delivering customer satisfaction.

You will attend one day a week at The Motor Centre, Nescot in Epsom to gain the underpinning knowledge and skills for this industry whilst working four days a week at our garage based in Guildford. You will be supervised at work by the garage owner and/or a qualified, experienced technician and supported by an experienced mentor/assessor from college.

Full-time, permanent position for the right candidate following completion of their apprenticeship.
