Admissions - Adult and Part-time Courses

How Do I Apply for a Part-time Course?

You can apply online from the course page on this website, or complete your application form and return it to college.  You can also download an application form here. The Advice & Guidance Centre will acknowledge receipt of your application.

We want your course to be right for you, so for some courses you may be asked to take an aptitude test or initial assessment of your literacy and numeracy skills

Once all the places on a course have been accepted we may still be able to offer you a place on a waiting list. Every year some applicants are not able to take up their place on a course and their places become available in August. If you accept a place on a waiting list it is important that you have an alternative backup plan as well, because we cannot guarantee that everyone on the list will get a place.

Securing a place on a part-time course depends on:

  • Reaching agreement with your interviewing lecturer and Advice & Guidance staff that it is the right course for you.
  • Accepting your place by returning and completing the form we send you.
  • Meeting the entry requirements and any other offer conditions for your chosen course by the time you enrol.
