The AAT qualifications are part of the National Qualifications Framework (NQF). NQF qualifications are made up of units but the qualification will only be recognised when course is completed in full.
If you do not wish to complete all the levels, you may attempt one or two levels only. In addition to college attendance, you will need to spend between 6 to 8 hours each week on home study.
Units on the AAT Professional Diploma in Accounting – Level 4:
*Some units will be assessed only by an end of unit assessment, while others will also be included in a synoptic assessment. The synoptic assessment tests the understanding of connections between the different topics covered across the qualification. Each qualification has one synoptic assessment, which will be sat towards the end of the qualification. All assessments in this qualification are computer based, time limited exams, set and marked by the AAT. The qualification will be awarded an overall grade of Pass, Merit or Distinction.
