This course is suitable for anyone looking to update their CPR skills and learn how to use them, or re-train in the use of an AED. Great for those who may have recently purchased an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) and would like staff, students or colleagues trained up in its use. This course can also be added to other courses such as the Emergency First Aid at Work course and the Anaphylaxis Training with Basic Life Support to add additional training to your group.

This qualification has been developed to help people update their CPR skills as well as learn or update their use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator). This qualification is suitable for people who have access to an AED as part of their first aid duties and the course can be combined with an Emergency First Aid at Work course to increase first aid skills and expertise in potential life-saving situations.
Assessment: Assessment is through continuous assessment over the contact hours during the AED training. There is no written questionnaire paper.
