To gain the full apprenticeship you will work towards the following qualifications:
Apprenticeships are fully funded for those aged 16 – 18 years. There is an annual employer contribution for those aged 19+.
Whilst your technical skills and knowledge will develop over the course of your Apprenticeship you will also need to demonstrate to potential employers that you possess the relevant skills and personal qualities and are willing to work and learn.
If you do not have an employer to support your apprenticeship the college will support you to find an employer through our dedicated employer support team.

To begin this course you must be eligible to work within England or the European Economic Area (EEC) and be employed for 18-30 hours in a relevant job role. Your employer must commit to supporting you throughout your apprenticeship and provide on-the-job learning as well as your college based off-the-job learning.
Attendance at college is therefore only required if Functional Skills in maths, English and ICT need to be achieved.You will aim to achieve Level 1 in maths, Level 1 in ICT and Level 2 in English to complete their Apprenticeship.
If you have achieved a Level 4 or above in these subjects prior to the Apprenticeship then you are exempt from attending Functional Skills classes. The duration of the qualification is one school year ie the beginning of September to end of August the following year.
Entry requirements for this qualification are Grade 3 and above in four GCSE subjects. If maths and English GCSEs are not among these subjects then you will undertake an initial assessment prior to enrolment as a minimum Level 1 in English and an Entry Level 3 in maths and ICT are required.
You will also need to demonstrate an interest in Supporting and Teaching in Schools at interview.
Additionally, if you have already obtained a level 4 or above qualification then you will not be eligible for apprenticeship funding. Individuals who already have a qualification at level 4 or above are only eligible for funding for a higher apprenticeship at level 5 or above

In addition, any changes between the website and the proposed course and services will be notified to applicants at the time of making an offer.

Should you become a student of the College, this notice shall be a term of any contract between you and Nescot.
