This Level 3 course is a progression on from Level 2 Hairdressing whereby learners study the underlying principles and advanced hairdressing practical skills required in hairdressing industry. As part of your programme of study you will also continue to develop your skills in Maths and English.

You will study 5 mandatory units plus one optional unit which are:
Towards the end of the course you will be assessed by an external theory exam set by City and Guilds, and a final practical exam.
Please note that work experience is a mandatory component of this course and you will be expected to complete a minimum of 30 hours.

A level 2 Diploma in Hairdressing with the majority of grades at Merit or above, plus English and Maths and a satisfactory reference from your tutor for attitude, behaviour, attendance and punctuality.
