The Level 2 Diploma in Brickwork at Nescot College is a one year course, available on a full or part-time basis to fit around your existing commitments.

The course is a combination of practical and theory sessions enabling you to gain good practical skills with underpinning job knowledge of brickwork. You will work towards achieving 6 units of competence, a Synoptic Practical Assignments and an end of year examination. To support your programme you will be required to attend English classes.
Courses are available on a full-time or part-time evening basis. You will be given details of course materials, stationery and health and safety equipment you will require when you enrol on the programme.
You will need to hold a Level 1 Diploma in Brickwork plus maths and English. We will also require a satisfactory reference from your school or college.
You will have an informal advisory interview with a construction tutor. Your discussion with the tutor will be for approximately 30 minutes and you will have the opportunity to ask questions and find out more about the content of the course.
You may progress onto Level 3 Brickwork, an apprenticeship or alternatively seek employment.
Potential career routes in the Brickwork industry:
Students are required to provide steel toe capped boots and overalls for practical work.
