Nescot students and staff were treated to a lunchtime performance by top tribute artist AmI Winehouse as a special treat in the run up to the Christmas break.
Rachel Rabin, 26, from New Malden has seen what started out as karaoke with friends explode into a lucrative singing career. Audiences have been amazed at the level of detail Rachel puts into her performance. As well as looking and sounding exactly like troubled diva Amy Winehouse, Rachel holds convincing banter with the crowd and takes repeated swigs of what looks like Amy’s beloved rum and coke. Fresh from touring Europe, Rachel completely won over the discerning crowd at Nescot and has promised a repeat performance and masterclasses for performing arts students in the near future.
