Students were treated to a wide range of activities as part of their induction week, culminating with the annual Freshers’ Fair on Friday 4th September.
Freshers’ Fair is a fun event that aims to welcome students to the college, whilst also providing information that will help them during their studies. Students were able to join the Nescot Student Union (NUS - National Union of Students) and a number of other local companies provided discount offers and incentives.
Students enjoyed healthy smoothies, courtesy of Sainsbury’s. The superstore in Kiln Lane sent a representative, who provided creative and healthy eating ideas for all the students.
There were a number of live performances, Nescot student DJ’s provided the sound, local cheerleading squad Unity Cheer showed off their acrobatic skills and students tested their balancing skills on the surf simulator.
Nescot would like to thank the following organisations for taking part and making the event a success:
Bounty Health Network,
Dolland & Aitchison Opticians,
Epsom & Ewell Borough Council Leisure Development Team,
Excel School of Motoring,
Fair Trade Awareness,
NUS (National Union of Students),
St John Ambulance,
The Rainbow Leisure Centre,
V Involved (Redhill).
