Nescot students from the Foundation Degree in Photo Imaging put on their final year exhibition at The Ebbisham Centre in Epsom on Thursday 24th May. The exhibition showcased a mixture of portraiture, lifestyle and landscape photography. Some of the students already run their own freelance photography businesses with many others going on to complete the BA (Hons) top-up degree next year.
The students were honoured that the new Mayor of Epsom & Ewell was able to visit and open the exhibition. It was Councillor Christine Long’s first public engagement as Mayor since being elected on 15th May. The Mayor was enthusiastic about the work on display and also talked about the plans to celebrate the borough’s 75th Anniversary this September.
The opening private view was a huge success with a fantastic turnout of family and friends of the exhibiting students, and course leaders and senior staff from NESCOT. The students would like to thank Kim Williams (Course Leader), Yon Marsh (Course Leader) & Adrian Davies (Manager & Course Leader) for their support and encouragement throughout this event and the last two years.
