Sports Therapy students are visiting two American Football training two camps this month.
Seven second-years and nine first-year students will go to a camp in West Sussex this weekend from Friday to Saturday and another in Bristol from April 14 to 16, both with tutor Mel Healy.
"The students will be able to put what they’ve learnt into practice in a supervised environment," said Mel, who works with American Football teams GB Lions and London Olympians.
"It will be a great chance for them to see how a camp works and what a sports therapist’s role is within that environment, and it comes at a good time of year as they prepare for the summer break.
"The students will be working together and helping each other out, so the first-years will get a sense for how far they’ve come already on the course, and it will help the second-years crystallise their knowledge."
