Preparation for Life and Work (PfLaW) students are selling Valentine’s Day-themed gifts in a pop-up shop at Nescot this week.
Most of the items on sale in the store were created by the students themselves, including terracotta pots planted with succulents, recipes in a jar and plaster moulds.
The students also baked heart-shaped cakes to order as well as creating personalised Valentine’s Day cards with a QR code in exchange for a £2 donation to the British Heart Foundation.
“The students have made some brilliant and original gifts, and we’ve been really pleased with the support they’ve had from other students, staff and visitors,” said Adam Beral, Head of PfLaW.
“They’ve worked hard together to design and create the gifts, and staffing the pop-up shop has also been a really useful experience for them.”
