Nescot students are being invited to have their property marked and registered for free by the police during two days at the college.
The Epsom and Ewell Safer Neighbourhood Team will be in Nescot’s student canteen from 10am until 4pm on Tuesday March 3 and Friday March 6.
They will be helping students and staff security mark items including bicycles, mobile phones, tablets and laptops, as well as giving out crime prevention advice.
Marking and registering details of personal items helps the police and retailers verify the legitimate owner of possessions that have been stolen and are being resold.
