Students and staff have been working on a facelift to Nescot's gym.
Jim Murphy, Head of Construction, Steve Matthews, Head of Plumbing, and tutor Darren Gough have been panelling the shower rooms and the corridor, with assistance from Level 1 and 3 Carpentry and Joinery students.
In addition, a new floor has been laid, radiators replaced and new basins and toilets installed.
"The improvements will make a big difference to people using the gym, so we're looking forward to it being finished," said Jim.
"It's also really useful for our students to be involved in a 'real-life' project, and they're getting to put into practice skills and knowledge they've learnt on the course."
The project is due to be finished by mid-July, and Nescot's gym remains open throughout the work.
