Students and staff can now load money onto their ID cards to pay for food and drinks in the canteen and Starbucks.
People can take their ID cards to any till in the canteen to be registered and staff will load them with cash payments.
The ID cards can then be scanned as payment for items including hot lunches, snacks, salads and hot and cold drinks, as well as the selection of teas, coffees and food in Starbucks.
Students eligible for free meals through the college bursary fund will have their entitlement loaded onto their ID card.
"This change is part of the college's commitment to continually improving services for our students and staff," said Jon Larsson, College Services and Procurement Manager.
"Cashless payment will make it even easier for everyone to enjoy the wide range of healthy food and drinks Nescot offers."
