Performing Arts students from Level 2 to HND-level starred in a week of events designed to showcase their work from the first term.
The first-ever Winter Festival opened on Monday last week (November 30) with a range of monologues from second-year Level 3 students, and closed on Friday (December 4) with a jazz night.
Shows in between included a night of new writing, with performances devised by the HND students, choreography and singing showcases, and a competitive Monologue Slam won by Ryan James.
“We put together a very challenging schedule, but the students did even better than we’d hoped they would,” said Gavin Maxwell, Section Leader for Performing Arts.
“I’m really glad we managed such a varied schedule that showed all their hard work this last term. The students had great support from their friends and families, and I know they learnt a lot from the experience.”
