GCSE results success for Nescot students

Nescot students have been celebrating great achievements with this year's GCSE results.

Congratulations to our adult Maths GCSE students Karen, Sarah, Michael and Caroline picture with tutor Tony, who all passed with grade 5s and a grade 4 and to Wendy pictured with tutor Johanna who passed her English GCSE with an amazing grade 7! 

Michael who passed his Maths GCSE with a grade 5 said, "The combined support that I found in the class was a huge factor in my enjoying the Maths course and was an important part that helped me succeed at Nescot."

Caroline passed her Maths GCSE with a grade 4 and explained her reasons for wanting to take this GCSE, "I had two reasons for doing this course, one was to help my youngest son next year when he does his GCSEs. The other reason was because it was my weakest subject at school years ago and it was nice to help strengthen that side of things."

Head of Curriculum for English, Maths, Basic Skills, ESOL Felicity Fletcher said, "GCSE results day is always an exciting time of year for our students and our English and maths tutors. This year has seen some fantastic results and we are all so proud of what our students have achieved."
