Come to an Open Evening to experience what Nescot can offer. Chat to staff and current students, to find out more about what studying at Nescot is like, and choose a course.
Read the course sheet text to make sure the course is right for you.
Click ‘Apply Online’. You will then be directed to our online application form
Once you have completed your application a ‘Thank you’ message will appear on screen, and an e-mail will be sent from Advice & Guidance.
Some courses require a reference from your school. You can download the reference form here, and email or post it to the college.
If you can’t find the e-mail in your inbox please check your junk mail folder.
You'll be sent an email inviting you to a course information event at Nescot, which you will need to attend.
Click on the links in the email to confirm you will attend, or to ask to attend on a different date.
You'll be in a group with other people studying your course. This is your chance to chat to the tutors and about everything you want to know about the course, from what your timetable might be like, to trips and visits you can expect.
You'll also be able to talk to staff about any additional needs you have.
You can find out more about what to expect online here.
If the course is right for you and you are right for the course, we will offer you a place. We will email you to confirm this within two working days.
Congratulations! You are now almost a student at Nescot.
You will need to follow the instructions in the email to accept the offer.
Many of our courses are in high demand, so if we do not hear from you within three weeks we cannot guarantee to hold your place open for you.
You will receive a letter inviting you to a Welcome Event taking place in June. The day will give you an opportunity to meet new friends, take part in activities, and get to know the college and the staff.
In July we will send you letter by post to come into college to enrol. Enrolment begins on GCSE results day. The letter will explain when you need to attend and what to bring.
If your GCSE results are not what you expect, we will be happy to assist. In some cases you will be able to do the same course but a different level.
Welcome to Nescot!
