Nescot is a forward-looking College of Further & Higher Education that serves a large area of South East England with a wide range of vocational and academic courses, both full and part time.
In 2015/16 there were 7,690 students enrolled on all forms of provision at the college, of whom 5,694 were on Further Education (FE) programmes, including 1,356 Apprenticeship and Traineeship students. 76% of all students studied part-time, and 24% full-time. 52% of all students were male and 48% were female. 25% of students were of minority ethnic origin, which is significantly above the Surrey average of 9.6% and Epsom and Ewell average of 14.1%. The college currently offers courses in 13 of the 15 sector skills areas. Some 5% of all enrolments were on entry-level courses, 21% at Level 1, 42% at Level 2, 13% at Level 3, and 4% at Level 4 and above. Nescot also provides a significant number of Higher Education programmes, with 297 full-time equivalent funded learners in 2015/16.
The College is dynamic and ambitious and is working towards ‘Outstanding’. The college was inspected by Ofsted in January 2016, and judged to be 'Good'.
