How to apply to study at Nescot.

Your Enrolment Appointment

The next step in the enrolment process is your enrolment appointment. During August we will be conducting these onsite with curriculum bubbles.

You should have received an email with appointment details and instructions, so if not then please check your spam folders on your email account in the first instance.  If you still have not received it then please email the following information to adviceteam@nescot.ac.uk

  • Full Name
  • Email Address
  • Contact Number
  • Request for resent of enrolment appointment email

Our Admissions Team will call you once they have resent the email to confirm that you have received it.

What will happen at my enrolment appointment?

At the appointment you will:

  • have a chat with a course tutor to ensure that the course and level are right for you
  • review your exam results to ensure that you have met the course entry criteria
  • if you have support needs and have not already done so, have a discussion about your needs with our Learning Support Team

We have to follow tight protocols with regard to numbers of people onsite as a result of the ongoing pandemic. We ask that you are accompanied by no more than one person. We do understand that some parents may not be able to make childcare arrangements for younger siblings so we will make concessions in those situations.

We need you to stick to the time slot communicated to you. If you come outside of that time slot then we will not be able to accommodate you due to tight restrictions on numbers and you will need to have your appointment rearranged.

What do I need to bring to my appointment

If you are a full-time student or apprentice you will need to ensure that you bring along copies of your exam results (unless you have already uploaded these to the enrolment portal).  If we do not have these then you will need to have your appointment rearranged for another day.

If you are applying for a university-level qualification you will need to bring copies of your qualifications and also proof of identification.

Preparing for your appointment

Prior to your appointment you must complete the Get Ready for College form and we cannot enrol you until this has been completed.  If the form is not completed then we cannot guarantee that you have a place at the College.  You can access the form directly via the link on your appointment email or via here. We have provided a video below to guide you through.

Uploading exam results

It is preferable that you scan/photo your exam results and upload them through your enrolment portal.  We have provided a video to guide you through.  Please ensure that images are clear and we can see all of your results.  If you have multiple results slips or certificates scan/photo each one and upload one at a time.  If you are not able to do this then you must bring them into College during your appointment slot.
