Nescot offers comprehensive and flexible support to students with individual needs wherever possible. The college is fully accessible and we have knowledgeable and experienced support staff on hand to help you get the most out of college life.
Your first step should be to tick the support needs box on the your application form so that we can make sure that our disability officer and possibly learning support are available at your interview. This will ensure that during the interview we can make sure that your needs can be met by this course. We will ask you to sign a release form so that we can share information with people who are currently supporting you, so that suitable support is in place as soon as you begin college.
Once you are a student at Nescot you will be assigned a personal tutor who will help you to succeed on your chosen programme and who will also be able to signpost additional sources of help if necessary.
Details of our Disability provision for people with extra support needs can be found in the 'Supporting You' booklet, which is available from Advice & Guidance.
We are committed to ensuring that our students with disabilities, including those with learning difficulties, are treated fairly.
We will make all reasonable adjustments to provision to ensure that students with disabilities are not disadvantaged.
