College Nurse

We take your health seriously at Nescot and make every effort to serve healthy nutritious food in our eateries and give you access to sporting facilities and training to maintain your fitness. Should you encounter more serious health difficulties, the College Nurse, Irene White, is available to provide medical care during term time from Monday to Thursday, 9.30am – 4.30pm.

There is no need to make an appointment, but you should be prepared to wait. The Nurse is situated in N17.

Our nurse can help you with:

• first aid and emergencies
• advice about medical concerns
• contraceptive advice
• dispensing some medication.

If a student is too ill to return to class the nurse will inform their course leader. With the student's consent, the nurse will contact their parents or carers and arrange transport home. If the student requires hospitalisation the nurse can also arrange this.
