Introduction to Health & Social Care: Level 1 Award (Distance Learning)
This qualification provides pathways into the sector for anyone considering a career in health and/or social care. It will provide an opportunity for learners to develop knowledge about the wider health and social care sector before they decide whether working in the sector is for them and gain information to make decisions about career progression.
Access to HE (Nursing pathway): Level 3
The Access to HE (Nursing pathway) is a programme that seeks to prepare people who wish to study towards a degree in the field of Nursing.
Access to HE in Health and Human Sciences
The Level 3 Access to HE Diploma is a nationally recognised qualification, designed to provide preparation for study in higher education (HE) in the UK for adults aged 19+ returning to education. It provides a balance of essential study skills with specialist subject knowledge, preparing students for the academic and practical rigour of undergraduate study in Health and Human Sciences.
PANCo Physical Activity Nutrition
This short course is ideal for Early Years practitioners with a passion to lead positive change in families and the workplace.
Food Premises Inspection Higher Certificate: Level 5
Any Environmental Health Assistant or Technician who wishes to develop their career in Food Premises Inspection, must, according to the current Food Standard Agency Code of Practice, be in possession of an Ordinary or Higher Certificate in Food Premises Inspection awarded by the Environmental Health Registration Board. This course is designed to prepare you for the examinations for this Higher Certificate.
Healthcare Play Specialism: Foundation Degree
Nescot is pleased to work with the University of West London, in delivering the Foundation Degree in Healthcare Play Specialism. The course is designed for individuals wishing to study for a career as a registered Health Play Specialist. This degree supports the development of professional competencies in the field of therapeutic play for children and young people in hospital and community healthcare settings. Successful completion of the programme leads to registration with the Healthcare Play Specialist Education Trust (HPSET).
Awareness of Mental Health Problems: Level 2 (Distance Learning)
The Level 2 Certificate in Awareness of Mental Health Problems is designed for learners working in a range of settings within the public, private, voluntary and community sectors. Mental distress takes many forms. This qualification aims to broaden learners’ knowledge of mental ill-health and the most commonly diagnosed mental health conditions.
