This qualification is an introductory teaching qualification. The Level 3 Award in Education and Training will give you the underpinning knowledge, understanding and skills needed to confirm occupational competence in the education and training sector. Assessment

Candidates work through an online platform, so there is no need to attend the college to gain the qualification. You will be guided to obtain the resources that contain the knowledge needed to meet the assessment requirements of the course and you can also gain further knowledge through research. There is also a requirement for you to develop your practical skills and there is a requirement to undertake observed and assessed practice in a real work environment. Assessments are based on knowledge and skills.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal or other nationally agreed entry requirements although an initial assessment to cover the minimum core of literacy, numeracy and ICT will be part of the initial assessment. The learner must live in England and be over 19 years of age.
