This course is ideal for learners who work with individuals with SpLDs who would like to increase their understanding. On completion of this course, Learners will receive a nationally recognised CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Specific Learning Difficulties.

Introducing Caring for Children and Young People: Level 2 (Distance Learning)

There are many factors that can impact on children and young people at different stages of their development. It is important to understand what these factors are, as well as the ways in which children and young people’s development can be enhanced through activity and interaction. Throughout this qualification, learners will explore how children’s development can be influenced.

Special Educational Needs and Disability: Level 2 (Distance Learning)

This qualification is aimed at learners seeking to improve their knowledge of Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND), either for personal or professional reasons. Learners will consider many aspects of SEND, including the symptoms of specific conditions, legislation and guidance applicable to individuals with SEND and how such conditions affect individuals in daily life.

Support Work in Schools and Colleges: Level 2 (Distance Learning)

The qualification is aimed at a range of learners who are thinking of working in a school or college setting, including young people, mature learners, learners with special educational needs, or where English is an additional language.

Understanding Autism: Level 2 (Distance Learning)

This course is appropriate for a wide range of learners and will provide a learner with knowledge and understanding to help prepare or care for an individual with Autism. It will be highly valuable to people who support those with Autism, in a personal or professional capacity.

Understanding Safeguarding and Prevent: Level 2 (Distance Learning)

The purpose of this qualification is to support anyone who is responsible for the safeguarding of people and for helping prevent radicalisation. It gives learners an understanding of recognising the signs of abuse, how to reduce the risk of radicalisation and the potential consequences of illegal online activity.
