This course prepares you for a variety of careers in health and social care, for example, Nursing, Social Work, Probation, Youth Work, Radiotherapy and Occupational Therapy. You will study a range of subjects including equality, diversity and rights in health and social care, first aid, human physiology, and effective communication. You will also attend work placements in different settings for a total of around 300 hours.
