ICPN1 Installation of Commercial Gas Pipework

Course Summary

The limited scope core along with ICPN1 is designed for operatives who will be installing commercial pipework >35mm for the purpose of transporting gas. The pipework will be connected to the meter connection and to a separate means of isolation or termination (spade or ECV), the live gas supply must not be connected to an appliance. Testing is excluded from this package but can be added by undertaking TPCP1 or TPCP1A.

  1. Gas Safety Legislation
  2. Gas Emergency Actions and Procedures
  3. Installation of Pipework and Fittings (up to 28mm in size)
  4. Identification of Unsafe Situations and the Use of Emergency Notices and Warning Labels
  5. The Operation of and Positioning of Emergency Isolation Controls and Valves
