We've spent more than £40million on improving our campus over the past few years, including building a new Skills Park, Motor Vehicle Centre and Built Environment Block. We've also refurbished areas including our Animal Care Unit and the LRC.
Graduate Success & Tradition
The college has been training scientists and other professionals since 1953, and in 2011 20% of our graduates achieved First Class degrees.
Nescot is an associate institution for Kingston University and the University of Greenwich. The College holds 'Sponsor Status' from the UK Border Agency.
Our campus is set in the beautiful Surrey countryside, as featured in the Olympics cycling road races in 2012, but is also a short journey to central London.
Friendly Staff and Students
You can be sure of a friendly welcome from staff and students at Nescot. We pride ourselves on our individual support for students.
At Nescot we emphasise supporting the 'whole' student, from your course to your overall wellbeing. For example, we have an on-site gym with discounted rates for students, and a nurse and counsellors on-site. We offer a quiet multi-faith room to students and staff.
All international students have a dedicated tutor to support them. In addition, you'll have access to specialist teams including Student Finance, Advice and Guidance, the college nurse and the student welfare team.
Learning Resources Centre (LRC)
The LRC has plenty of friendly and expert staff to help you access computers, books, journals and other research resources.
Virtual Learning Environment (VLE)
Your tutors will use the VLE to support your studies when you're not in class, giving you access to specialist materials for your course.
Student fees at Nescot are highly competitive.
English Language Support
As an international student you will be expected to have a good standard of English. However, we are able to offer additional support through ESOL / IELTS English Language courses.
