If you are serious about IT and gaining industry recognised professional qualifications from a quality provider, Nescot offers an unrivalled range. Nescot was the first Further Education College in the UK to become a Cisco Academy in 1998 and since that time has been offering Cisco Networking courses. We are delighted to have gained CITRIX and SAP Academy status - another first for any FE college in the UK. This enables us to offer courses in this area for the first time this year and we are looking forward to expanding this exciting work further.
We are the first Cyberoam Network Security Academy in the UK. We train and support Regional and Local Academies across the UK based in Universities, FE colleges and private training providers, offering everything from advice and guidance to training and instructors.
Nescot computing students have again successfully competed in the UK World Skills competition this year and employers work closely with the team to ensure that our computing courses provide the skills that employers need, including Microsoft and Oracle.
22 IT companies, ranging from software development to network engineering, and including local, national and international brands contribute to our Industry Forum which helps us to ensure the relevance and content of our courses. We also offer level 3 and 4 Apprenticeships in IT and are currently working with 30 companies. We were one of the first colleges in the England to offer Higher Apprenticeships.
Becoming a Computing student at Nescot gives you access to our academy programmes, valuable tools and free software, information and resources to support you in your on-going career development.
