Nursing Associate Apprenticeship - development group

Nescot is developing a new approach to high-level apprenticeships in Nursing, working with care sector employers and a university. Our aim is to shape the delivery model to suit employers and learners through a partnership approach, face to face & online tuition, pastoral care and peer-to-peer support.

The programme will begin in autumn 2023.

Care sector managers - join our development group!

We are currently looking for a group of industry professionals with an interest in developing the offer. We will be discussing insights and innovative approaches to the delivery of the Nursing Associate apprenticeship, prior to validation from the Nursing and Midwifery Council. 

The aim of the working group is for Nescot to engage closely with employers to produce a delivery model to meet skills needs in way that supports both learners and employers. The group bring together stakeholders in the health sector to ensure a positive impact on recruitment to key roles, including the development and progression of existing staff members. Meetings will be held virtually and/or in person to suit members.
