How to apply to study at Nescot.

Former Nescot animal care student Claire Roberts has been named as a finalist for Animal Charity Volunteer of the Year in the Petplan & ADCH Animal Charity Awards.

Claire has been chosen out of over 6000 nominations as one of three finalists, earning her nomination for her work for Blue Cross. This involves general hospital assistant, fundraising, transport, campaign work and much more.

Whilst at Nescot, Claire studied on the level 2 Animal Care course and has high praise for her tutors. 'My tutors were amazing and helped me learn the skills and gain a qualification in the animal world'.

Claire added, "I was so happy last year to receive a nomination certificate for volunteer of the year but a few weeks ago I had a telephone conversation to inform me that I have been shortlisted for the award. I may not win the award but I'm already a winner for every animal I help!"
