This February Nescot marked the achievements of our apprentices and their fabulous employers during National Apprenticeship Week.

Many of our employers shared inspiring stories:

  • Billy Vance of Continental Landscapes told us about the value of apprentices in the horticulture sector in a special blog here
  • Harry Mills of QHS Contracting described the apprentices they are training through Nescot as "fundamental to our business" - read more here
  • Pat Dennis of Innovation Salon spoke about how her apprentice Ashleigh is supporting customer care
  • Apprenticeships cover sectors you might not expect - read about our Healthcare Play apprentice Jess here

Nescot also hosted a reception for apprentices employed in roles the college.

"With apprentices covering 14 different roles, from junior assistants to team managers, studying qualifications from level 2 to 5 (degree-level), Nescot itself is certainly underlining the value of the apprenticeship scheme to businesses. We are immensely proud of the apprentices we employ, as well as the hundreds we train through fantastic employer partnerships." said Nescot's Acting Principal Julie Kapsalis.
