A team of Nescot Creative Media students has reached the semi-final stage of Worldskills UK, in the Film category.

Elodie Claus, Adam Rose, Ruben Mangatal-Francis & Kaiya Jackson will represent the College at the national competition, to be held in Corby on 8 June.

The team were selected to compete among the final dozen teams for the nationwide competition from their 'elevator pitch' video submission. "It was a tough challenge," said team member Kaiya. "We were not allowed to edit our submission at all. Trying to be perfect would never have worked, so we decided to bring in a comedy aspect, and also showcased our work using a video loop on the screen behind us. We're glad the judges liked our ideas!"

The students are all studying Creative Media Level 3 at Nescot. For more information applying to a similar course please click here.
