Employer Recognition Scheme Silver Award.
Nescot is proud to receive the Employer Recognition Scheme Silver Award for the college’s commitment to the armed forces community.
The Ministry of Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) Silver Awards 2025, took place on Thursday 18 September in the Sovereigns’ Room at the Royal Air Force Club, Piccadilly, honouring 22 London-based organisations.
Nescot officially signed the Armed Forces Covenant in October 2024 at a special event at the college. The Covenant is a formal commitment to those who serve and have served that they will be treated with fairness and respect, and a recognition of the valuable attributes they bring to the workplace.
The Silver ERS Awards are a pivotal initiative within the framework of the Armed Forces Covenant (AFC) programme, aimed at fostering support for the Armed Forces community and recognising organisations making substantial contributions in this domain. The AFC programme seeks to raise awareness about the importance of supporting our service members and veterans, encouraging businesses to engage in activities that contribute to their welfare.
The 2025 Silver ERS Awards showcased the commitment of 22 organisations to supporting the Armed Forces community. These awards are a testament to their dedication to hiring, training, and championing service members and veterans. Achieving the Silver Award is a significant milestone, symbolising an organisation’s exceptional support for the Armed Forces community and veterans’ employment.
