Our next Open Evening is on Thursday 15 May.
Students were invited to discover more about college life to make the most of their time at Nescot at our annual Freshers Fair earlier this week.
Organised by our dynamic Student Experience team, the Freshers Fair was held in the college’s Refectory area over three days (22-24 October) and was attended by students from all our curriculum areas.
Students could find out about - social clubs, enrichment opportunities and support services available at college, career opportunities with local organisations in and around Epsom & Ewell, join in activities to win prizes and enjoy giveaways. Students were also treated to live performances during lunch time in the adjoining FE Common Room courtesy our talented Level 3 Music Technology students who were showcasing their skills as part of their course.
Fiona Nerberg, Head of Student Experience at Nescot said, “The Freshers Fair is the ideal opportunity for our students to connect and explore! It’s a chance for them to meet new friends, find a new hobby, learn about college support services and campus resources, boost their CV or get involved in the community. Live music by their peers added to the fun and lively atmosphere.”
A huge thank you to representatives from all the external organisations for attending and supporting our Freshers Fair: CYP Haven Epsom, Epsom & Ewell PHAB, Kooth, Barclays Life Skills, Specsavers, BETTER, Epsom Picturehouse, Epsom Library, MacDonalds, Oxfam, Inspire Youth CIS, BT Internet, Y.O.U.F.F Dolphin Foundation, Catch 22, Nescot Gym, Careers and Student Experience Team.
