A team of four creative media students at Nescot has qualified for the national finals of Worldskills UK, taking place in Manchester this November. The team will face off against four other teams in the finals of the Digital Media Production category, having progressed through college tests and regional heats.

It is the second year running that a Nescot team have reached the finals in this category. In 2022, Nescot students won the Bronze medal.

Nescot Principal Julie Kapsalis said, "To have our students reach national skills finals in this subject two years in a row is wonderful and highlights the amazing practical training that this department provides. I'm really proud of the students and excited to see how they do in the finals."

Look out for more news on the team's preparation next term!
