Access to HE in Health and Human Sciences

The Level 3 Access to HE Diploma is a nationally recognised qualification, designed to provide preparation for study in higher education (HE) in the UK for adults aged 19+ returning to education. It provides a balance of essential study skills with specialist subject knowledge, preparing students for the academic and practical rigour of undergraduate study in Health and Human Sciences.

Students applying for Access Courses at Nescot are normally eligible for the government's Advanced Learner Loan. This covers your course fees. If you go on to complete a university degree, the loan for your Access course is written off.

Access to Higher Education

Access courses are designed for people who left school without formal qualifications, like A-Levels and BTECs, but want to study for HNCs, HNDs and degrees.
