This Full-time Beauty Therapy course is for those who want to become qualified Beauty Therapists. The main part of your programme consists of underpinning knowledge and understanding alongside the development of practical skills within a salon environment treating paying clients.
Level 2 in Beauty (either Technical or Merits at VRQ or equivalent) plus a good command of the English language.
With a Level 3 course you will be able to seek employment as a Beauty Therapist in a variety of settings such as a beauty salon, health and leisure centre, hotel or a cruise liner. You will also be able to progress to more advanced courses or training.

Please note: Fees are for 2024/25 entry and apply to students eligible for home fee status. The fees quoted are subject to personal circumstances and will be confirmed at the time of your enrolment, depending on eligibility criteria. The units are as followed -
Towards the end of the course you will be assessed by a series of multiple choice exams, and a final practical exam undertaken with an external examiner from ITEC.
You will be expected to purchase your own textbooks and various pieces of equipment and tools. You will also need to purchase a uniform - tunic, trousers and shoes, which will be discussed at interview.
Students are recommended to take out student insurance (approximately £35), which covers students for client work and practice of skills outside college. The tutor will advise you about this at the commencement of course.
Please note that Learning Support staff are not routinely allocated to part time courses.
