Course Summary

This course leads to a professional qualification in hairdressing, covering all the skills needed to become a stylist in a salon. The course includes theory as well as practical skills such as styling, cutting and colouring.

Generally, four GCSEs at grade 3 or above, preferably including English and a brief discussion at enrolment. However these are discussed at interview and may be relaxed dependent on circumstances.

Successful students at Level 2 can progress to work as a junior stylist in a salon, or continue training with the Level 3 in Hairdressing or Level 2 in Beauty.
