How to apply to study at Nescot.
This qualification is aimed at learners seeking to improve their knowledge of Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND), either for personal or professional reasons. Learners will consider many aspects of SEND, including the symptoms of specific conditions, legislation and guidance applicable to individuals with SEND and how such conditions affect individuals in daily life.
This course is aimed at anyone who wishes to develop knowledge and understanding of understanding of Special Education Needs and Disability.
It is also designed for learners wishing to progress to a wide range of further learning within SEND or health and social care.
This qualification provides a sound preparation for further study and access to a range of vocational qualifications including Level 2 Autism, Level 2 Learning Disabilities and The Learning Support Assistant, Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning.
