Nescot Teaching

Nescot provides teaching and education courses at many levels, depending on your qualifications and aspirations. These enable you to get into teaching for the first time or to progress your career.

  • Distance Learning Courses: Get your first taste of what is involved in teaching and supporting learning, or develop a  specialist skill. Little in the way of formal qualifications are required, and most courses are free depending on eligibility. Suitable for those in support work in schools, or educational staff seeking learning in a specific area e.g. dyslexia, safeguarding etc.
  • Part-Time Courses: We offer evening courses aimed at those wishing to explore Post-16 education, or to progress their career in that area, as well as other part-time options that combine work with study. Includes university-level courses such as PGCE.
  • University-Level Courses: We offer full-time degree level courses in teaching, early years and healthcare play. Teaching is normally on one or two days per week.
