How to apply to study at Nescot.
The Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) Qualifications are awarded by one of the world's leading membership organisations for the accounting profession with over 130,000 members in more than 90 countries. AAT qualifications are universally respected and internationally recognised. Organisations hire AAT qualified members for their knowledge, skills, diligence and enthusiasm, because AAT represents the highest standards of professionalism.
Must be 19 or over on 31 August 2024 and hold an Advanced Diploma in Accounting, Level 3 Diploma in Accounting; AAT Intermediate NVQ3.
Evidence of qualification should be brought to the interview.
Interview with one of the AAT tutors.
This qualification will give you enhanced career opportunities. You may also wish to progress to other qualifications including CIMA, ACCA, CIPFA.
Fees for 2024/25
Payable to Nescot: Tuition & exam fees £2,573* - Advance Learning Loans are available on application.
*excludes resit fees paid by the student to Nescot
Payable to AAT: Student Registration fee £240 - see the AAT website for more details
Please note: Fees are for 2024/25 entry and apply to students eligible for home fee status. The fees quoted are subject to personal circumstances and will be confirmed at the time of your enrolment, depending on eligibility criteria. The AAT qualifications are made up of units but the qualification will only be recognised when the course is completed in full.
• AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting
• AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting
• AAT Level 4 Diploma in Professional Accounting
If you do not wish to complete all the levels, you may attempt one or two levels only. In addition to college attendance, you will need to spend between 6 to 8 hours each week on home study.
Units on the AAT Level 4 Diploma in Professional Accounting:
• Applied Management Accounting
• Drafting and Interpreting Financial Statements
• Internal Accounting Systems and Controls
• Personal Tax
• Credit and Debt Management
