Summer Fair & fun dog show 17 June Details here
Join us for our annual Welcome Day.
For Students: The event is aimed at welcoming new students to Nescot. You'll be able to meet the other people on your course and your tutors, and do fun practical activities. We'll also give you a free lunch with live music. You'll do two sessions with your new class - one in the morning, and one in the afternoon. These will be fun, practical activities, so you should wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty, just in case. You don't need to bring anything with you, except for a bottle of water. If you haven't registered already, please click here.
For Parents: We will also be holding short talks for your parents or guardians in the college refectory on the same day. The talks are about 30 minutes, and adults will need to register to attend. To register for the talk at 10.30am, please click here. To register for the talk at 6pm, please click here. Due to limited space these talks are for parents/guardians only.
All students will do two practical sessions, with a break for lunch in the middle. The timing of your sessions depends on which subject you've applied for. If a parent or guardian is meeting you afterwards, please arrange to meet them outside the Skills Park after the finish time for your subject.
Please choose an option when you register for the Welcome Day.
You will also get a side of Cajun Fries, Mexican Slaw and a drink.
Our Welcome Day is usually very popular with our applicants. They enjoy spending a day at college, getting to know their new teachers and the college campus, and doing the activities. However, the event isn't compulsory. If you can't attend then it doesn't affect your application or enrolment in any way. If you can't attend please click here to let us know.
If you have any questions about the day please contact Tony, tpope@nescot.ac.uk or 0208 394 3343.
