Beauty students at Nescot are donating all their takings for the month of December to charity.

The Level 2 and Level 3 students are holding sessions this week and next and offering treatments ranging from massage to facials in exchange for donations to The Royal Marsden.

In addition, students will be selling homemade cakes and biscuits and holding a raffle for vouchers for hair and beauty treatments at the college.

“We chose to raise money for The Royal Marsden because the charity does such a lot to help people affected by cancer,” said Andry Waters, Curriculum and Standards Coordinator for Beauty.

“The students have been working really hard, and the fundraising has been an extra motivation for them. We’re all hoping we can raise as much as possible, and so far people have been very generous.”

Treatments have been held this week, and there are more sessions from 3.30-4.30pm on Monday (December 9), 11.30am to 1pm on Tuesday; 9.30am to 12.30om on Wednesday and 2-4pm on Thursday.
