The Sussex and Surrey region is benefitting from a new Institute of Technology (IoT), opened at Nescot in February 2024
Led by Chichester College Group (CCG), the C2C IoT consortium includes Nescot and the universities of Sussex and Brighton. The IoT enhances higher level skills training, with a new state-of-the-art facility at Nescot and specialist satellites for delivery at locations across the region.
The investment will create new cutting-edge facilities for higher level technical training with a focus on digital, sustainable technologies, engineering and construction. The IoT at Nescot will specialise in digital technologies with courses and apprenticeship programmes including software development, cyber security, data handling, 'internet of things' and IT support.
