Study programmes
Each full-time student will have their own study programme designed. We’ll start with your full-time course, and we’ll talk to you about what you’ve already achieved and what we think will help you progress towards your future career.
If you don’t already have a grade 4 (grade C) or above at GCSE English and Maths then these subjects or Functional Skills will be added to your study programme.
Your study programme may also include a work experience placement, an extended project, and workshops to help you search and apply for jobs.
Study programmes include at least 540 hours spread across the academic year. All parts of it are compulsory.
We are often asked by young people and parents about the differences between an apprenticeship and a full-time college course. This table highlights the key differences – and similarities.
T Levels are a new qualification at Level 3, which will provide an alternative to A Levels and existing vocational courses. Nescot has T Levels in selected subject. Find out more about T Levels here.
A-Level Flex is a new pathway that combines traditional A-Levels with a Level 3 Alternative Academic Qualification (AAQ). Find out more about A-Level Flex courses here.
